MediaCom Communications Corp. (Nasdaq: MCCC) dropped two bucks to close at $3.68 per share at the end of Hell Week 2008. Another $2.00 and it may be a good buy.

Unlike Qwest Communications International (NYSE: Q), which pays a dividend of $0.32 (13.20% per share), MediaCom pays nothing.

At 10% of the market cap of Qwest, MediaCom is STILL expensive. This geek is of the opinion that MediaCom (MCCC) has nowhere to run and, with the dramatic readjustment of the stockmarket, nowhere to hide.

With the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) volatility of late, the Communications sector has taken a big hit. Companines like (MCCC), Qwest (Q), Google (GOOG), and Microsoft (MSFT) make the ride on the stocks coaster look pretty tame.
