Google is sending out an over-the-air software update to the Nexus One giving it multi-touch support, just like the iPhone.

The update will also improve a glitch with its 3G connectivity, as well as provide an update to Google Maps.

Google (GOOG) announced a new feature today that allows Android phones to remember Google searches made on computers or other devices:

Imagine you’re on your computer and you come across the Place Page for Mario’s Bohemian Cigar Store Cafe. After reading reviews, you decide to stop in for lunch. When you’re ready to go and want to get directions, just open Google Maps on your phone, start typing “mar,” and you’ll quickly see a suggestion - saving you from re-typing a long query and making it easier and faster to be on your way.

AOL CEO Tim Armstrong with traders at the New York Stock ExchangeAOL (AOL) reports Q4 earnings tomorrow; Citi analyst Mark Mahaney isn’t very excited.

Mark’s reitreated a “hold” on AOL, with a $29 price target.

He writes that AOL’s gross revenues will be down for the 16th consecutive quarter, “down 19% Y/Y vs. down 23% Y/Y in Q3 and down  23% in H1:09.”
